Music@Bethel Concert Series
Music@Bethel is thrilled to announce our 25th season of outstanding performances produced by Artistic Director Jeffrey Panko. The 2023-2024 Season features returning Music@Bethel favorites, as well as a first time musical book review. Our season opener will feature dramatic book reviewer Jenny Riddle in character as Constanze Mozart, and classical pianist Jeffrey Panko playing some of Mozart’s best loved music, as they bring to life the fascinating story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the most important women in his life, based on the best-selling book “Mozart’s Women” by Dame Jane Glover. In December, jazz returns to our Music@Bethel concert series with a sparkling performance by the Alyssa Allgood Quartet celebrating the holiday season. In March, the Edgewater Ensemble wind quintet comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn, will be performing music composed by marginalized composers as well as the traditional wind quintet literature. In April, renowned flutist Mary Stolper, accompanied by Jeffrey Panko, returns by popular demand to Music@Bethel for an unprecedented fifth appearance in our concert series, performing works by Bach, Chopin, Ravel and Schwanter.
